Dr. LeBeau
Veterinarian
Dr. LeBeau is an original Las Vegas native having grown up in Summerlin and graduated from Bishop Gorman High School. She then attended the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science. On her path to becoming a veterinarian she managed multiple sport horse farms, competitively rode horses in the hunters, jumpers, equitation and eventing and coached many young women to success on IHSA middle school and high school competing equestrian teams. She attended Lincoln Memorial University - College of Veterinary Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee.
Dr. LeBeau also attended the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and is a certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. She values integrative medicine between Western and Eastern practices and alternative therapies for many conditions. She finds acupuncture to be a rewarding addition to many pet's treatment plans and management strategies for long and short term conditions.
After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. LeBeau originally practiced large, small animal, and equine medicine at a hospital in upstate New York. After starting a family and many years away from home, her and her husband decided moving back to the Las Vegas area was in her future.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. LeBeau loves spending time with her family, two young children, and her two cats. Her favorite patients are geriatric kitties and she enjoys and prides herself on proper patient pain management, surgery, and dentistry. Some of her favorite phrases you'll hear around the hospital are 'Age is not a disease!' and 'If it concerns you, it concerns me!'.
