At Canyon Pet Hospital, we take pride in serving the Las Vegas, NV area with all things related to pets. Dr. Gill, our licensed and experienced veterinarian, oversees our veterinary clinic and animal hospital.

Our full-service animal hospital is equipped to handle both emergency cases and routine medical, surgical, and dental care for pets. Our Doctors have years of experience in treating serious conditions and providing regular wellness care for pets. In addition to top-notch care, our clinic is designed to be comfortable, kid-friendly, and calm so that your pet can relax while waiting to see our Las Vegas veterinarian.

Veterinarian

Dr. LeBeau

Veterinarian

Dr. LeBeau, a native of Las Vegas, grew up in Summerlin and graduated from Bishop Gorman High School. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from the University of Findlay in Ohio before attending the Lincoln Memorial University - College of Veterinary Medicine in Tennessee to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian.

In addition to her formal education, Dr. LeBeau attended the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and is now a certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. She believes in the value of integrative medicine, combining Western and Eastern practices and alternative therapies to treat a variety of conditions in her animal patients.

After practicing large and small animal medicine in upstate New York, Dr. LeBeau and her husband made the decision to move back to Las Vegas, where they started their family. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her two young children and two cats. Dr. LeBeau has a special place in her heart for geriatric cats and takes pride in providing proper pain management, surgery, and dentistry for her patients. Her mottoes in the hospital include 'Age is not a disease!' and 'If it concerns you, it concerns me!'.

Dr. Hughes

Veterinarian

Dr. Hughes grew up in rural Montana, where he devoted much of his free time to working in his father's mixed animal veterinary practice. After earning his Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science from Montana State University, Dr. Hughes went on to obtain his doctorate from Ross University of Veterinary Medicine. He completed his clinical rotations at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

When he's not at the clinic, Dr. Hughes enjoys outdoor adventures with his wife, child, cat, and three dogs.

Dr. Gill

Veterinarian

Originally from the Bay Area, California, Dr. Gill was born and raised there before attending veterinary school at P.A.U. in Punjab, India. Following his graduation, he completed his first intern year at Ace Animal Hospital in Fremont, California, before continuing his training at Sunnyvale Animal Hospital. Dr. Gill also undertook an Externship program at the College of Veterinary Medicine in Gainesville, Florida. He ultimately settled in Las Vegas, where he has been practicing ever since. In May of 2021, Dr. Gill opened Canyon Pet Hospital, offering top-notch service to the community.

Emily

Hospital Manager

Emily was born in Northern California, moved to Tucson, Arizona, and officially became a resident of Nevada in 2004. Her career in veterinary medicine began in 2006 as an assistant, and she has remained in the veterinary field for all these years. Emily particularly enjoys assisting doctors and licensed technicians with surgeries and providing in-hospital care for patients. She is the proud owner of a chihuahua mix named Moxxi, as well as her two cats Maple and Pancake, both of whom are rescues.

Reinaldo

Lead Licensed Veterinary Technician

Reinaldo was born and raised in Las Vegas and has been working in the veterinary field for over 10 years. He is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and a graduate of Pima Medical Institute. Outside of work Reinaldo enjoys traveling, snowboarding, watching scary movies, and boxing. He shares his life with an 8-year-old Rottweiler who has the personality of a Labrador Retriever.

Kaylin

Lead Veterinary Assistant

Kaylin was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida and moved to Las Vegas three years ago with her husband. She quickly fell in love with the variety and adventure the city has to offer. Kaylin shares her home with two dogs, a German Shepherd and a Shiba Inu, and has loved animals all her life with a special soft spot for dachshunds. Kaylin began her career in the veterinary field three years ago and is currently studying to become a veterinary technician. Outside of work Kaylin enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, paddleboarding, and hiking with her fur babies.

Raquel​

Lead Veterinary Receptionist

Since moving to Nevada in 2022, Raquel has absolutely loved her new home. She shares her space with Hazel, a beloved Maltipoo who is the best fur baby she has ever had. Hazel is pampered and shows her owners endless love. In her spare time, Raquel enjoys shopping, spending time with friends, and loved ones. One of the best parts of working at a pet hospital for Raquel is meeting new families and pets, and ensuring their fur babies receive the proper care and attention they deserve.
